Comments: The 1952 Oldsmobile is known for low production and horsepower. In 1951 the U.S. got involved in Korea resulting in restrictions for civilian production in 1951 and 1952, with those restrictions in place only 3,544 ninety-eight convertible were produced in 1952. This may be the finest restored example being offered for sale today.

This car was purchased from the original owner and treated to a concours level complete body off nut and bolt restoration. Included is the original bill of sale/title and a storyboard showing this car leaving the barn.

The outside is finished in factory regal turquoise iridescent. An excellent body fit and finish compliment the laser straight body panels. All chrome and stainless were done to exacting professional standards.

The original 303/160 was restored to factory specs. The horsepower war of Detroit did not slow down during the Korean War, for 1952 Oldsmobile led the way with a new high lift cam and four barrel "Quadrajet" carburetor. 1952 also introduced the Super Hydra-Matic transmission which completes this cars original drivetrain.

Factory equipment includes: new for 1952 power steering, steering wheel mounted 15 jewel, self-winding Marr clock, Autotronic eye, dash mounted compass, power windows, power seat, power top, power brakes, deluxe radio, and fender skirts.
